Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Hohhot Arrival
Welcome to Inner Mongolia! Upon arrival, please make your own way from the Hohhot Baita International Airport to the hotel. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

- Day 2: Hohhot - XilamurenXilamuren Grassland, Horse Riding Performance
After breakfast, depart for Xilamuren Grassland (about 2.5 hours by car), a famous summer resort at home and abroad. Every summer, flowers bloom here and cattle and sheep are everywhere. The flat expanse of grassland is like a green gem, making every tourist enchanted.
Xilamuren Grassland Enjoy a light hike on the grassland, with a big breath of fresh air. Sample Zhama banquet lunch in a traditional yurt, and then watch the stunning horse riding performance combined with acrobatics.
Stay in a Mongolian yurt on the picturesque grassland for the night.

Zhama Banquet Lunch - Day 3: Xilamuren - BaotouWudang Lamasery, Sahantala Grassland
In the morning, you can experience an optional activity - horse riding on the peaceful hinterland of the grassland (at your own expense). Then drive you to Wudang Lamasery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Inner Mongolia.
Wudang Lamasery Next, visit the Sahantala Grassland, a unique "urban prairie" in China and even in Asia. Here you will witness that the vast green grass meets the blue sky in the distance. In addition to walking among the wildflowers and grass, there are many recreational activities (for an extra fee), including horseback riding, archery, and camel riding. After that, transfer you to Baotou for the night.

Sahantala Grassland - Day 4: Baotou - Kubuqi DesertBaotou Museum, Kubuqi Desert, Camel Ride
After breakfast, head to Baotou Museum, which focuses on the development process of human cultural heritage and civilization in western Inner Mongolia.
Baotou Museum Afterwards, take a 1.5-hours ride to the Kubuqi Desert, the seventh-largest desert in China. Our activities are mainly concentrated in the Singing Sand Bay Scenic Area. You will be arranged to experience a 1-hour camel ride.
Watch the breathtaking sunset view of the endless desert near the camping site. Enjoy a Mongolian barbecue, attend a bonfire party, and lie in the desert watching the starry sky.

Singing Sand Bay, Kubuqi Desert - Day 5: Kubuqi Desert - HohhotJeep Ride, Dazhao Temple, Tongshun Alley, Saishang Old Street
Today, take a desert walk to capture the sunrise. And then take a jeep to feel the speed and passion in the desert (about 15 kilometers).
After that, you will be escorted back to Hohhot. In the afternoon, visit the Dazhao Temple, also known as the "Silver Buddha Temple" because there is a silver Buddha enshrined in the temple.
Dazhao Temple Then head to Tongshun Alley, an antique street that focuses on food. Here you can not only taste local snacks, but also find many handicrafts and various cultural sights.
Visit Saishang Old Street, another century-old street near Dazhao Temple. It is one of the four old streets in the old town of Hohhot, with a length of 380 meters, lined with Ming and Qing-style buildings on both sides.

After breakfast, drive to the Inner Mongolia Museum for a cultural tour, which is an important stop for visitors to experience the history and grassland culture of Inner Mongolia. The museum displays the natural scenery and social development of Inner Mongolia in ancient times through objects (such as dinosaurs and other mammal fossil specimens) and pictures.
Inner Mongolia Museum Hike in Daqing Mountain in the afternoon. Famous for its four characteristics of "beautiful, secluded, strange, and vast", Daqing Mountain is a great leisure resort in Inner Mongolia. On the hike, you will enjoy a variety of landscapes, such as peaks and caves of various shapes, as well as canyons, deep pools, and meadows.
The whole hike lasts about 3.5-4 hours.
