Hengdian World Studios consists of 8 theme parks – Guangzhou Street / Hong Kong Street, Emperor Qin Palace, Qing Ming Shang He Tu, Riverside Town in South China, Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties, Dazhi Temple, Rocky Grottos and Pujiang Shen Li Gorge. The constructions were built and styled according to the major periods of China’s history, from Qin Dynasty to the Republic of China. If you rent a set of costume and dress like the ancients while visiting, it is like reliving the history in a time tunnel.
Every park has its own specialty. You will see reappearances of the classic scenes of many famous movies and experience the high-tech panoramic show. Hengdian World Studios is about 380 km from Shanghai, 180 km from Hangzhou, 190 km from Wenzhou, 18 km from Dongyang, 36 km from Yiwu. If you wanna fly to Hengdian, you can choose the Yiwu Airport. Most big Chinese Airlines have direct flights to Yiwu. When you reach Yiwu Airport, you can take a tour bus at Yiwu East Bus Station. It is about 50 minutes’ ride from Yiwu to Hengdian World Studios.
What to eat:
There is a snack street named Wanshengmeishi Street in Hengdian World Studios. You can find all kinds of Chinese food here: Chongqing Hot Spot, Beijing Shuanyangrou, Xibeidapanji, Hengdian Tonggubao, Hengdian Niuzabao, Shuancaiheiyubao, Dongyangshangluhundun, Jinhuasubing, Dongyanglamian, Dongbeixuroudabing, etc. All these are recommended by the movie stars here.

Althrough Hengdian World Studios is not a very good place for shopping, it is near Yiwu. Yiwu China Commodity City is called Paradise for the international purchasers. Yiwu China Commodity City covers an area of 4.3 million square meters, with 62,000 booths inside. 100,000 suppliers exhibit 400,000 kinds of products almost every day from 9 am to 5 pm (except the holidays of Chinese Spring Festival ). The products are from around 40 industries and of 2,000 different categories. 65% of these products are exported to over 215 countries and regions.
