Lhasa Travel, Tibet travel and China vacations
Xitang is a town with a long history. It is located in Jiashan,Zhejiang Province, China.
It is distributed with rivers, and has a very quiet environment. Nine rivers divides Xitang into eight sections. Many bridges are used to link it together.
The interesting thing is that all the buildings here face onto the canals and boat tours are available for tourists.
In Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible 3, you can find a small town in Shanghai. This small town is Xitang.
Xitang is a very traditional ancient town in Jiangzhe area of China. You can learn the life style of an ancient Chinese town here and everything is slow in Xitang. It is a good place to relax and slow down. There are many old Xitang people sitting beside the river everyday. They don't speak mandarin and they still kept the old life style of Shanghai. What they do everyday is relaxing and enjoying the simple and quiet life here.
