A lot of Chinese people like to hang out with friends in the KTVs. The Karaoke is most Chinese young people’s favourite recreational activities. I will talk about the most notable KTVs of Beijing in this article.

1. Melody KTV ( 4 stars in sound system, 3 stars in food ):

This is one of the oldest KTVs in Beijing and lots of people are very familar with this place. It has 4 branches in Beijing. One thing I find interesting about Melody KTV is that different Melody branches has different decoration styles. I like Melody KTV’s environment, very quiet and comfortable. The sound systems here are perfect. 2. Tango KTV (3 stars in sound systems, 4 stars in food):

This is a 24 hours’ KTV in Beijing. There are different types of rooms here and the free Internet is available in every room. This is good for the people waiting to sing their songs in the KTV rooms. The environment of Tango is pretty good and the decoration style here is very modern. There are 3 VIP rooms which is very different in the decoration style with other rooms. You can choose them if you wanna try something different here. 🙂 In the dinner time, Tango KTV offers free food and drinks for all the costomers here. The quality of these food and drinks are not bad.

3. Party World (4 stars in sound system, 4 stars in food):

This is one of the oldest KTVs in Beijing. Lots of young people like its decoration style. You can find the latest pop music here and the database of the music is updated daily. Party World’s sound systems are very good. You will never find the sound interference here. Many pop music fans like a function called “Magic voice” here. You can greatly improve your voice by using this “magic” Karaoke function. Because of this, more and more young people have become the fans of the Party World. There are free food and drinks here all the time. Some customers are just here for the food. For them, this KTV is more like a restaurant. 🙂
